Exercises such as these are profound in sports like baseball, tennis, racquetball, football, or any sport that would derive their movements from turning aka anything 😏. Use them, perfect them, and try to blow a hole in the wall. Ok? K.

We all want great legs, amiright?? With work comes payoff, always. Some sooner than others but we have some good nuggets for those looking to really see some results. (Cue predictable bullet points 😂)
• Volume - Keep the blood flowing peeps! Yes, accumulate stress and get these legs feeling like baby deer on ice. • Slooww it down - Have control in your movements and slow down the eccentric portions (the motion before contracting - ex. Squatting down before standing up). Slower isn’t always fun and neither is the soreness but the results don’t lie 😜. • Add variety - Don’t reinvent the wheel, but make sure you do something different. Not only for your body, but for your mind.
• Minimize rest breaks - Accumulate blood flow by keeping rest breaks shorter (30-90 sec) and keep the blood flowing (*unless you are going for strength - then you take your sweet time lol). • BE SAFE - prob should be at the top of this bc of its importance but nevertheless true. Don’t reinvent the wheel. Instead, master the basics. If it looks bad and feels bad, it prob is. Start light and go from there. Track your progress and beat it every. single. time, mmk? K 👊

Spring Break 2019: Today was the first day after having 5 babies that I relatively confidently donned a 2 piece and headed to the pool with my family. All this thanks to a lot of hard boiled eggs, Adam Valentine at Tri Fit, my mom and work out parter and my husband encouraging me all the way. I have ALWAYS hated any kind of exercise, but Adam's ability to guide and entertain us along the way with funny stories and sweet videos of his baby June have made it almost enjoyable. I know my insides are healthier than they have ever been and my outsides aren't too shabby either. My body will never be perfect, but I have precious little ones that make up the difference. To my mom friends: I know our lives are like a giant game of Tetris, trying to balance work, homework and getting dinner on the table at night amoung other things. But if I can encourage you to leave your cell phone in your gym bag for 1 or 2 hours a week and disconnect from the Tetris game it will do your mind and body good.
