  • B.S. Community and Public Health

I've always been around sports and had sports training in my daily routine. In college I started working with a personal trainer and this is where my love of fitness changed from taking orders to understanding my body and learning the complexity and importance of health and wellness in my life.

Soon after, I started to work at the Murfreesboro Athletic Club as a front desk associate and I was exposed to so many different kinds of people who were all working out in different styles and with different purposes. This led me to decide to study Community and Public Health at MTSU and minor in Nutrition and Food Science. I absolutely fell in love with everything I was learning and gained so much valuable knowledge from my degree.

After I graduated I found a job in the business side of health and started working for the American Heart Association. While I loved the mission of my job I felt compelled to become more involved in a hands on way in people's health journeys. After working almost 5 years at the Murfreesboro Athletic Club I decided to get my personal training certification and join the Tri-Fit team. Working with Tri-Fit has been such a rewarding career and I feel very blessed to work with a group of people who help me to continue learning and growing as a health professional everyday.
